We are a new company, made up of leading experts in the design and engineering of solar powered traffic products, representing thousands of installations around the world, from Europe to North America to Asia to Africa.
Over the last two years, we have developed the world's most advanced solar powered traffic signals. Our aim was to create a new technology from ground up, not simply to connect solar panels to existing grid powered systems as others have attempted.
By dedicating our engineering team to this project, we have completed the first generation of solar powered traffic signals.
Financing Packages:
International Solar Signal is working with the Canadian Export Development Corporation, local development banks and private banks to offer a financing package for the purchase of these traffic signals. In particular the Canadian Export Development Corporation has established lines of credit with major private sector banks that will allow them to “on-lend” to state and municipal government agencies.
Local Manufacturing:
The components used in modern traffic signals are manufactured around the world: solar panels from Hong Kong; signal heads and LEDs from Austria; circuit boards from Canada; batteries from the U.S.A. We are organized to operate a manufacturing/ assembly plant in the local market. We would supply all of the management, training and ongoing support necessary to ensure the success of these operations.
